5 Professional Website Tweaks You Can Make TODAY to Get More Clients from Your Website

One thing I really appreciate about the legal system. It’s mostly rational.

It has an established set of rules, protocols, and procedures that keep things running fairly smoothly. You could even say it’s predictable, by and large.

If only your clients were the same way, right?

But unfortunately, as we both know, they like to pull all sorts of bizarre shenanigans. Case in point, here are eight things clients and potentials do that don’t make a lick of sense:

  1. They’ll be up a creek without a paddle, and need an attorney stat. But instead of finding immediate legal assistance, they’ll search Google for tips and advice all day, then ask friends and family.
  2. They expect you to give an hour of your time to help them – for free – yet, a couple days later, they won’t take two minutes to answer the phone to say, “Thanks, but I went with a different firm.”
  3. They’ll answer your first follow-up call, say they’re busy, and promise to call back. But then they “go ghost” – completely ignoring all further attempts at contact.
  4. They somehow acquire your home number and call on the weekend with all manner of imaginary emergencies and special requests.
  5. They drop into your office unannounced and expect to be seen right then and there.
  6. They’re rude to your staff.
  7. They don’t (or won’t) follow your directions.
  8. They try to tell you how to handle their legal proceedings.
  9. They don’t pay on time – and sometimes not at all.
  10. They complain about every bill and question everything – no matter how small or trivial.

Can you relate?

I bet you’ve seen it all.

Fortunately, it’s actually not too hard to manage quirks like these – some can even be EXPLOITED to your advantage when you know what to do.

My Secrets of Attorney Marketing book shows you precisely how to do this. It also covers a great way to counter irrational sales objections, like, “I have no money”, “You’re too expensive”, or “I can’t afford it”. (See page 220)
