Richard Jacobs, a founder of the successful marketing company, Speakeasy Marketing, continues his power-ideas series on the importance of marketing. Jacobs presents “The Twelve Days of Attorney Marketing Christmas,” a once-a-day intensive series that can help all attorneys prepare to make 2020 a year to remember—bringing success, better clients, and bigger profits.
Richard Jacobs is an authority in the marketing arena. His company, Speakeasy Marketing, has helped attorneys all across the country, to succeed in their goal of providing better service to their clients, while dramatically lifting profits.
Jacobs discusses the power of the 80/20 principle—a method to help each of us supercharge what we do, to get things done more efficiently and faster, and to focus on our ideas. Jacobs talks about the traffic we bring to our websites, and how to bring more clients in. He provides tips on how to ‘supercharge’ our websites, and make web pages draw more interest, hits, and clicks that could turn into a real business.
Jacobs explains that attorneys should look at the kinds of cases they take on, and have taken on, and to identify similar characteristics between cases. What scenarios are profitable? As attorneys look at cases and see certain types come up over and over, maybe they could crank up efficiency by streamlining tasks that relate to the same kinds of cases.
Jacobs goes on to explain other scenarios in which the 80/20 principle works, looking at client sign-ups, and evaluating who is taking the calls, and who is closing. By observing what has happened in the past, we can look at maximizing our opportunities in the future.
