If you showcase your authority wisely, then you will never find yourself chasing the media, because you’ll be their go-to expert. Their go-to expert when they need information about your legal niche, when they need to add credibility to their story, when they want to write a story that makes them stand out.
The key? YOU have to stand out. You have to be THE attorney who will add value to their work. This requires a little effort in the beginning; you’ll need to target the media most relevant to you, and follow up faithfully.
You’ll need to prove to them that you’re the best person to seek out when they need legal commentary in your field. Do this by sending them the information they want to see…the information that removes all doubt that you are the authority in your niche.
