WANTED: Ambitious Sales Professional For A Growing Legal Marketing Company

Earn from $120k to $215k+ per year as an independent contractor. Work from home. Established company with 14 years of experience in our market, a mature service, and a proven sales process and scripts.

Experience desirable, but not essential. Must be coachable. Must be based in the US.

We’re a boutique legal marketing firm. We sell a distinctive and highly specialized marketing service to solo attorneys and small law firms, through a direct marketing and sales process that we have continually refined over the last 14 years. Our client base is stable. We have a mature product that has evolved with the market. And, most relevant to you, we have a value proposition and pitch that simply works.

Where you come in:

As we enter a new stage in our growth, we’re looking for an ambitious sales professional to join our ranks. But not just anybody. We’re specifically looking for someone who is sharp, hungry to earn, and coachable.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to earn anywhere from $120k a year to $215k.

As you’ll see in a minute, we pay a weekly base plus a commission on every signed agreement. There is a minimum level of output we expect. And if you want to “coast” at this level and enjoy the good life, we’re game for that. On the other hand, there is also the opportunity to build a serious earnings stream here. The ideal candidate we seek will fall into the second category. He or she will be hungry and ambitious.

If you have relevant experience selling to attorneys, that’s great. If you have experience with the Sandler Selling System, that’s great too. We value experience. But it’s not essential. We know our market well and we know how to make them buy. What we need are more closers/account executives in our ranks who are coachable and able to run with what we have and know works. We are a learning organization. There is room for testing new ideas, including yours, and evolving our modus operandi. But we have no time for mavericks or loose cannons. You need to be a flexible team player who is happy to get with the program.

We’ll give you appointments with qualified sales leads. We’ll give you a phone line, Zoom room, email address, and access to our CRM. We’ll give you scripts/outlines, slides, and email templates. All you need to do is get on those calls, deliver a solid presentation, and then close them. That’s the gig in a nutshell.

You will also be expected to do some of your own prospecting: a minimum of 50 calls a day to a list of hot, warm, and cold prospects that we provide. The primary purpose of this daily appointment-setting block is to supplement your sales pipeline. However, it’s also about keeping you warm and also giving you an opportunity to bring your insights into our prospecting and appointment setting process so that we can keep improving. This block should require 1-2 hours a day, depending on who answers, etc. Full training and continuous coaching are provided.

Base is $500 a week.

The commission is variable, and depends on multiple different factors. Happy to give full details when we talk.

However, as a rough rule of thumb, you can expect to make:

  • 5 deals/month – $120k a year
  • 6 deals/month – $148k a year
  • 7 deals/month – $180k a year
  • 8 deals/month – $215k a year

Base and commissions are paid out weekly by direct deposit from bill dot com, with commissions accruing on signed agreements received from new clients. As a contractor, you will be responsible for filing your own taxes, social security, etc.

We’ll give you time to find your groove. But we need to see at least two deals in the first month, growing to at least five deals per month after 2-3 months. We’ll provide the training and support you need.
